INTRODUCTION INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

1.1 DEVELOPMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY 


DEFINITION:
Information technology or IT can be defined briefly as the use of computer hardware and software to store, retrieve, and manipulate  information.

STAND ALONE:
  • A desktop or laptop computer that is used on its own without requiring a connection to a network.
     
MAINFRAME:

  •  A large, expensive, powerful computer that can handle hundreds or thousands of connected users simultaneously.




CLIENT SERVER NETWORK:
  •  An architecture in which the user's PC (the client) is the requesting machine and the server is the supplying machine, both are connected via a network such as the Internet.

DISTRIBUTED COMPUTING:
  • A type of computing which different components and object comprising an application can be located on different computers connected to a network. 





CLOUD COMPUTING:
  • An Internet service that provides computing needs to computer users.

    ASEAN

    WHAT IS 'ASEAN'?







    The Association of Southeast Asian Nations, or ASEAN, was established on 8 August 1967 in Bangkok, Thailand, with the signing of the ASEAN Declaration (Bangkok Declaration) by the Founding Fathers of ASEAN, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.

    Brunei Darussalam then joined on 7 January 1984, Viet Nam on 28 July 1995, Lao PDR and Myanmar on 23 July 1997, and Cambodia on 30 April 1999, making up what is today the ten Member States of ASEAN.

    AIM AND PURPOSE OF ASEAN:

    •  To promote regional peace and stability through abiding respect for justice and the rule of law in the relationship among countries of the region and adherence to the principles of the United Nations Charter;
    •  To promote active collaboration and mutual assistance on matters of common interest in the economic, social, cultural, technical, scientific and administrative fields;
    •  To provide assistance to each other in the form of training and research facilities in the educational, professional, technical and administrative spheres;
    •  To collaborate more effectively for the greater utilisation of their agriculture and industries, the expansion of their trade, including the study of the problems of international commodity trade, the improvement of their transportation and communications facilities and the raising of the living standards of their peoples;
    • To promote Southeast Asian studies; and
    • To maintain close and beneficial cooperation with existing international and regional organisations with similar aims and purposes, and explore all avenues for even closer cooperation among themselves

    RULES OF NETIQUETTE ...

    • Keep  messages brief
      -Do not send uncompressed attachment.
    • Be clear
        -Make sure subject lines(e-mail)  or page title(web page) reflects your content.
    • Use appropriate language
        -use proper grammar,spelling,and punctuation
        -do not use capiatl letter
        -use abbreviations and acronym for phrases .
        -be polite.avoid offensive language
        - Make a good impression – review /edit words and images be  sending
    • Be careful when using sarcasm and humor
        - It might be misinterpreted
    • Avoid sending SPAM


    • Avoid forward chain letter
    • Avoid sending or posting flames.
    • Never read someone's private email.
    • Clearly identify a spoiler which is a message that reveals a solution to a game or ending to a movie or program.

     To be honest,I don't have a fovourite food.I eat any food that can make my stomach full.Mee Bandung Muar...Delicious!!!

    DeSSerT!!!!it looks delicious and exciting!!Chocolate,strawberry,mocha and what so ever
